We’ve been so grateful to enter (and win) some incredible chowder competitions over the years. However, due to the lack of reputable competitions in recent years, we haven’t had many opportunities to compete.

CHOWDAFEST 2016 – Pike Place Chowder of Seattle once again proved the best comes from the west. This year's competition was the stiffest yet but the gang from Seattle successfully defended their 2015 title. Maybe it was because they served their samples in mini bread bowls. Maybe it was because they get their ingredients right here in New England. Maybe it was because they walked around serving samples to everyone. Or maybe, just maybe, they're just that good! -Chowdafest
CHOWDAFEST 2017 – The 10th Annual Chowdafest was a record breaking event! Over 2,000 gallons of chowder, soup & bisque were sampled? That the Food Network was in attendance shooting the event the entire day and that if you attended, you might be in the show?

Pike Place Chowder's third consecutive win – 2018, 2017, 2016
Pike Place Chowder won the “Best Boat Show Chowder!” title at the Seattle Boat Show Charity Chowder Cook Off three years in a row! Seattle’s top seafood spots competed, and guests voted Pike Place Chowder’s chowder as the best. In addition, a charitable donation was made in our name to the local nonprofit Salmon for Soldiers. Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported this great cause!
About Salmon for Soldiers: The mission of Salmon for Soldiers is to offer a sense of normalcy and relaxation to our nation’s veterans through fishing. Salmon for Soldiers’ fishing opportunities are designed to help reduce stress while creating new relationships with others who love fishing. Our events are designed to accommodate veterans with paralysis, PTSD, TBI and other debilitating challenges.
