Sustainability at Pike Place Chowder

Pike Place Chowder is committed to using locally sourced ingredients, including fresh produce selections that come directly from Pike Place Market, while our creamy chowders feature heavy cream from local dairies in Kent, Washington. Our fresh sourdough bread comes from a local Seattle bakery and over 90% of our dining materials are fully compostable. Made fresh daily in small batches, our chowders minimize food waste while delivering bold, award-winning flavors.

Our seafood is 100% Certified Sustainable from responsibly managed fisheries to help protect marine ecosystems and preserve fish populations for the future. Pike Place Chowder proudly participates in the Lummi Reefnet Festival, a vibrant celebration of traditional, sustainable reefnet fishing by Indigenous communities of the Salish Sea. This partnership reflects our commitment alongside The Salish Center for Sustainable Fishing Methods and their Wave Warriors initiative to protect local waters amid rapid population growth, rebuild healthy wild salmon populations, and conserve the last 74 Southern Resident Orcas of the Salish Sea.

Join us in making a positive impact. Your donation can help preserve the fruits of the Salish Sea!
