Three Fish. All Pacific Northwest.
Most fish and chips spots in Seattle serve one fish. At Pike Place Chowder's Pacific Place location we serve three, each one lightly battered, Pacific Northwest sourced, and served with house-made tartar and cocktail sauces, a lemon wedge, and fries. Alaskan Cod, Wild Sockeye Salmon, and seasonal Alaskan Halibut. No frozen fish, no heavy batter, no shortcuts.

Alaskan Cod Fish and Chips
The classic done right. Lightly fried Alaskan Cod with a crisp, delicate batter that lets the clean, flaky flavor of the fish come through. Served with house-made tartar and cocktail sauces, a lemon wedge, and fries. The benchmark by which every other fish and chips in Seattle should be measured.
Wild Sockeye Salmon Fish and Chips
This is the one Seattle was made for. Lightly battered Wild Sockeye Salmon from Pacific Northwest waters, rich, flavorful, and unlike anything you will find at a standard fish and chips spot. Served with house-made tartar and cocktail sauces, a lemon wedge, and fries. If you have never had salmon fish and chips, this is where to start.
Seasonal Alaskan Halibut Fish and Chips
When halibut is in season, it is on the menu. Lightly battered Alaskan Halibut, delicate and sweet with a clean Pacific Northwest flavor that is worth coming back for every season. Served with house-made tartar and cocktail sauces, a lemon wedge, and fries. Check availability at the counter or order online to see if it is available today.
House-Made Tartar and Cocktail Sauces
The sauces matter. Both our tartar and cocktail sauces are made in house, which means no generic condiment packets and no cutting corners on the details that make a great fish and chips complete. The kind of thing you only notice when it is done right.
Pacific Place Only
Our fish and chips are available exclusively at our Pacific Place location in downtown Seattle. Same scratch-made standards and Pacific Northwest sourcing that have defined Pike Place Chowder since 2003, with a full fryer that lets our kitchen go further than our Pike Place Market location can.
