Manhattan Clam Chowder (Gluten Free)
A tomato-based clam chowder built around chopped clams, celery, onion, and a seasoned shellfish stock. Lighter and brighter than a traditional New England style, bold enough to stand on its own, and one of the few genuinely gluten free chowder options available anywhere at Pike Place Market. If you have always loved clam chowder but given up on finding a gluten free version worth ordering, this is the bowl that changes that.
Lime and Coconut Chowder (Vegan and Gluten Free)
Baby bok choy, asparagus, portabella mushroom, and sweet corn in a coconut milk and lime base with a hint of curry. Completely plant based and gluten free, it is one of the most unexpected and genuinely delicious bowls on our menu. Proof that great chowder does not have to start with cream or clams, and one of the most unique gluten free dining options in downtown Seattle.
A Note on Allergens
While Pike Place Chowder does not cook with or use any nut products, the bakery we source our sourdough and brioche bread from operates in a facility that handles nuts. Our gluten free chowders are served without bread bowls. If you have specific allergen concerns beyond gluten, please ask our staff before ordering and we will do everything we can to accommodate you safely.
